Anyway here are more details about my Istockphoto account.I have a total of 677 pictures.in total 2094 of my images have been downloaded. I guess that's pretty good.my most popular photograph is an image of a business man holding a telephone. Pretty typical. These business oriented images tend to be among the best-selling.
It's not just about photography, I have also done a number of computer generated images. If done well the sell very well.my fourth most popular image is a computer-generated image of a gas pump. Doing these computer-generated images are very fun and Time flies when you're doing it however these days I just can't find the time to get back into it. But one of these days I will.

anyway moving on this site that I liked a lot more than Istockphoto would definitely be shutterstock. It's really quite amazing, I have just log into my account and it has been awhile and I'm quite amazed when I look at my statistics.I have earned just over $3000, but don't get too excited when you hear these numbers. This again is over the time span of two or three years. So when you look at it in those terms it's not big money. However as a hobby it's not a bad little paycheck.and look at this. My all-time total downloads on this website is just over 10,000. that is kind of impressive. If only it was $10,000. Anyway this site is by far my favorite.this site works on a subscription model and not a cost per photo model. Perhaps that is why it has been so successful for me. Anyway when I have time I really look forward to adding to my portfolio. It's very satisfying to know that my images are being used all over the world. And perhaps when I'm 90 years old I will open a magazine or perhaps a historical document and see one of my images. Who knows where it might turn up. I have seen my images show up so many times on the Internet. When I stumble upon one of my images I don't even get excited anymore. I just think to myself all there is another one, that's kind of cool.

moving on their couple other sites I need to mention.a site that I really like is called dreamstime.this website is not as big or as popular as the other two I mentioned but I really like this site because there is a lot of high-quality work and they tend to pay very well for each download. Financially I have been fairly successful with this site to. In total on this website I have earned about $700. I have a total of 454 images on this site.another really cool thing about this site is that sometimes people tell you where these of photographs. For example the image of the gas pump was used for car magazine. I know that because the customer left me a comment.I have also had images on this website be used on T-shirts which is kind of cool.
One drawback about this website I would have to say is the fact that it takes a bit longer to keyword and a description to each image. But anyway if you're serious about stock photography I would definitely say that this is the third best site out there. So creating an account here would well be worth your while.

oh yes, and I almost forgot to mention how many total downloads I have acquired. I have done almost 800 downloads on this website. Not too shabby I would say. But I'm not about to quit my day job.
well I don't have much more time but I have to mention two more sites. This one I really like quite a bit to. It is called for fotolia. I have made on most $200 in total on this website. I have submitted 991 photographs. Also I must mention that I have sold 840 images.

the last one I want to mention is called big stock photo.I have earned a total of $275 on this website.I guess that's okay but far from the other sites. My criticism of this site is that it is a little bit hard and time-consuming to keyword and upload new images. Anyway I guess that's not too bad. Here is a link to my profile on that page.

Anyway I hope this overview gives you some valuable information. Very very few people become rich as a photographer and still very very few can make a living off photography, but if you want a hobby that is infinitely fun and can pay a bit too, be sure to look into stock photography. When I have more time I will go into greater detail about each of these websites. They are our times of little details I have not included yet.
