Today an old friend called me from overseas.  He is very serious about e-commerce and he is very successful at making a full-time income from his efforts.  Unlike me, he deals only in physical products.  And without a doubt, I can say that he has had a lot more success than I have had making money online.  The reason why I don't deal in physical products is that perhaps I'm bit lazy.  I was involved in the small business a couple years ago where I would manufacture my own T-shirts, but the whole packing and shipping aspects of the business really was tedious for me.  That is why I got into information and affiliate marketing.

Perhaps however, I should look into doing some marketing for actual physical products again.  He told me of a great resource called worldwidebrands.  Look it up on google, it should be easy to find.  Basically this is a service that costs about $300 and you get access to list of true wholesalers and drop shippers.  I looked into it and I read quite a bit of information on the website and I have to say it looks good.  I'm not saying I'm going to get into this business, but it never hurts to learn more about other approaches.

Then he was telling me how his Yahoo store has been very successful compared to the eBay store because it is cheaper to run.  So now I can see that the system is fairly straightforward.  He researches items on worldwidebrands, and then simply sells them on his Yahoo store.  Of course nothing is ever that simple but this idea may prove to be another way for me in the future.
